Daniel Samaniego is an artist dedicated to the practice of drawing. His super-real, labor-intensive works on paper are an investigation of representational politics surrounding the androgynous figure.
He earned his B.F.A. from The University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2007. He was awarded a Fellowship at San Francisco Art Institute’s Painting program where he completed his MFA in 2011.
